Limited edition of 2000, privately published in Japan and offered by Holy Mountain. This book chronicles five years of tea ceramics made in
the Mino style by American artist RICHARD MILGRIM. Milgrim is the first Western potter whose tea wares are endorsed by the Grand Master of the Urasenke tea school. Milgrim
's thick, white glazes and iron-oxide paintings are characteristic of Shino ware, developed during the Momoyama Era at the Mino kilns and favored by tea connoisseurs. Bbook contains
various examples of ceramic styles and forms including:
